CHICAGO – Sen. Bernie Sanders will travel to Illinois Tuesday to rally supporters in Rockford ahead of the March 17 primary.
The Senator’s support in Illinois continues to grow with strong recent polling and a groundswell of thousands of grassroots volunteers organizing with Bernie 2020 across the state. Sen. Sanders’ previous trips to Illinois have included a Chicago rally that drew 12,500 people and a fair contract strike meeting to stand in solidarity with the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) and SEIU Local 73.
